Meet Ryan
My name is Ryan Lemmon, Republican candidate for the 39th House District. The pride for my home and for the future my family and neighbors deserve is what has led me to the decision of announcing my candidacy for the West Virginia House of Delegates. I have been blessed for the opportunity to live in such a beautiful home surrounded by the best people on earth. I have chosen to plant my flag in West Virginia, start a family, build a business, and work every day towards pulling our home out of obscurity. Our neighbors are hurting and struggling with the pains of addiction, either directly or indirectly and we have all felt the effect. Some of our neighbors struggle with having access to a safe and clean home, all while the bureaucrats in Charleston continue to bicker amongst themselves. We are the ones that are left out. West Virginians are ready for new energy, fresh ideas, and greater transparency in the state legislature. I will truly take the oath of office to heart and WORK endlessly to ensure that the decisions that come from your house are in the best interest of all of us. It’s time West Virginia, time to step up and fight for our home and our future. I humbly and graciously ask for your support.
The 39th District
The West Virginia House of Delegates is the lower house of the West Virginia Legislature. It consists of 100 members from 67 districts throughout the state.

The 39th house district of the West Virginia House of Delegates is one of the most diverse districts in our state. The district encompasses portions of Charleston, Cross Lanes, Sissonville, and Dunbar.
Issues
These are the issues facing our state that I feel are of the highest priority, and I will fight to resolve them on your behalf:
Economy
We must continue to make West Virginia more attractive to outside investors. However, it's critical we groom and support the talent that already exists within our state and encourage folks to keep their talent here by providing them with good paying jobs and the ability to succeed.
Drug Epidemic
We must work with the leaders in public education to ensure children are exposed to positive messaging and have the resources available to seek counseling in order to end this systemic problem. Also, we must better organize and deploy the recovery resources available to those who need help immediately.
Infrastructure
We all know that our roads, bridges, and utility lines are in dire need of improvement. We must tackle this issue as efficiently as possible, remove the red tape, and streamline the process for identifying projects where they are needed most. We must also continue to fight for the improvement of our broadband internet connectivity throughout the state and encourage partners such as Google Fiber to invest in West Virginia.
Transparency
In order to ensure a functional government, we must provide open lines of communication to our constituents. This is why I will always take your phone calls, post the most accurate information available about the issues happening in your house, and vow that my door will always be open for anyone to discuss the issues most important to you.
